<p>The work of Miguel Calatayud has been a pioneering example for spanish artists from the 70's. His claire ligne style and palette narrative use has been used as a way of representing the nature according to different artistica styles, with an strong commitment with the defense of nature.</p>

History

Biography

Noelia Ibarra-Rius is assistant profesor at the Department of Language and Literature Didactics at the University of Valencia. She coordinates different lines of research in the UVEG-recognised group Educación Lectora, Literaria, Lingüística, Cultura y Sociedad (ELCIS). She has published more than 50 publications in prestigious journals and supervised 6 doctoral theses. She is co-director of the Master in Comics and Education at the Universitat de València and the Chair of Comic Studies at the University of Valencia SM-UV Foundation and the Aula de Còmic Álvaro M. Pons is assistant professor at the Departament d'Òptica i Optometria i Ciències de la Visió. He has worked intensely active in the field of comics, both as a researcher and as a populariser, with more than 50 national and international publications. He co-directs the Chair of Comic Studies at the University of Valencia SM-UV Foundation and the Aula de Còmic of the same university.
