media
posted on 2020-07-14, 14:08 authored by Jenny Tillotson
This was an AHRC Follow-on Funding for Impact and Engagement project that examined the product feasibility of eScent and the commercial viability of a scent cartridge. eScent is an item of jewellery or technology embedded clothing that contains scent and a dispenser activated electronically to deliver specified aliquots of fragrance depending on a sensor or timer if the application is for fashion, healthcare, wellbeing, or environmental in nature. A number of interviews were conducted as part of the research with individuals in the fragrance and technology sectors.
